Mishima Yukari – seasoned dry perilla – sushi seasoning

If you’ve made sushi with us, or ordered sushi from us, you will know how beautiful this seasoning looks as soon as the moisture from the rice hits and it turns a vibrant purple colour!  Made from dried perilla or ‘shiso’ the leaves from this herb are dried and ground with a little sugar and salt.  Allergen free and versatile you can sprinkle this seasoning on your sushi, rice balls, poke bowl or just a bowl of rice.
